WELCOME
Welcome!

There are many difficult aspects to each person's life.  One that many do not realize is caring for aging parents.  We all know that when we have children, we must care for them, but little do we realize that as we age our parents are aging as well.  One very difficult task is trying to be a parent yourself and at the same time care for your own parents.
Alzheimer's disease is very difficult in many ways.  It is difficult for the person who is having the memory loss problems, but it is equally difficult for the patient's family.  Many of those suffering from Alzheimer's are staying at home with their families longer.  This means that the family is the primary sources of care for the person.
If you are someone caring for a family member with Alzheimer's disease, hopefully this website will help you.  This site will include information on the following.

Hopefully the information provided will be helpful with the life changes that caregiving me be causing.
This website has been created for a Psychology: Adult Development class project.
The information comes from the sites that I have included on the contact page.
